    Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health, and staying in control of your weight through activity and healthy eating contributes to good health now and as you age.

    Every Anne Arundel County resident deserves affordable, timely, quality health care. We are working to remove the barriers and help improve the health and well-being of all people.

Our Goal

The goal of the Healthy Anne Arundel Coalition is to improve the health and wellness for county residents by bringing together community members, businesses, community associations, faith-based organizations, government agencies, health care organizations, schools, and other community organizations to address the health concerns of our community! By engaging with this diverse group of partners, we seek to improve the health and wellness of those who call Anne Arundel County home!

  • Making sobriety fun, Club 164 comes equipped with a full nonalcoholic bar, pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong, darts, and several board games. The Club also comes with 13 flat screen TV’s and a state-of-the-art sound system.

  • Parent CRAFT is an online video course that teaches parents the skills they need to meet the risks of substance abuse. This program provides ways to address adolescent and transitional-age youth (TAY) substance abuse through highly engaging online video segments that include structured suggestions for practicing the skills.

    This project is made freely available to parents in Maryland by the National Center for School Mental Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with funding from the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

  • This free exercise program focuses n stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics, and strength training exercises. The program is offered virtually via Zoom an lasts 16 weeks. Register HERE.
