Open to County High Schoolers and Parents
The Department of Health is sponsoring training for high school-age youth, recent graduates and their parents in Anne Arundel County. Attendees of the training will better understand the causes and responses to community trauma and resilience. Challenges can be confusing and stressful to our mind and body, so it's important to take care of our wellness. Resilience teaches us how to center ourselves, find ways of coping, relaxation and refreshment. Resilience is comprised of five elements: community, compassion, confidence, commitment and centering.
