Trauma Support Group: Annapolis

  • Community Meeting Room, Luminis Health K. Kent McNew Family Medical Center 175 Harry S. Truman Parkway Annapolis, MD, 21401 United States (map)

Whether the traumatic event was the result of abuse, an assault, severe accident, or natural disaster, trauma survivors often have similar reactions. They may feel angry, anxious, depressed, or guilty. Additionally they may find themselves feeling helpless, hopeless, and isolated.

This trauma group welcomes anyone who has experienced a trauma and is struggling. The focus of the group is on symptoms and symptom management, connecting with others who understand.

This free, drop in, support group is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Both have more than 10 years experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and other traumatic events. To register for FREE, click here.
